James Swartz
started OneUP Technology with the vision
of a complete, nationwide outsourced IT
firm with a strong focus on customer
service. The company services clients
with technology ranging from small
peer-to-peer networks, to complex
multi-domain environments with multiple
operating systems.
Yet even with the success and
growth of the company since its
inception, the commitment to incredible
service and the philosophy of putting
the clients needs above all else is
still the backbone of the organization.
Prior to beginning OneUP Technology,
James worked with an IS integration firm
named Logic Network Solutions based in
San Diego,
California
.
During his six years of service with
Logic, he rose from a base technician to
lead engineer, Director of Technical
services, and eventually VP of
engineering.
Through that time frame, James also
created a series of Novell Netware 5
instructional tapes with the company
LearnKey.
Much of his expertise with
troubleshooting was developed during his
8 years of service with the US Navy
where he worked on a mix of electronic
equipment and computer systems.
He received the Navy Achievement
medal for his contributions.
Since then, he has worked as a
systems integrator for over 8 years and
has been consulting on network systems
for over ten years. James actively participates in networking seminars and provides
demonstrations on the effectiveness of
new technologies.
He is certified in both Microsoft
and Novell platforms.
After a successful start in
San Diego
, OneUP Technology opened a branch
office in
Las Vegas
,
Nevada
. Staying with the same model of
the
San Diego
location, the
Las Vegas
office has evolved into a success story,
as well.
